Themes over time

One of the data analysis ideas is to look at the themes over time. That is, when do certain themes emerge and are they more or less present over different time intervals. One way to look at this would be to map out themes over time and present it as a stacked bar graph. Themes could be aggregated over the span of a week, and then graphed for 4, 8, 12, 16 months to see how they emerge. Once an emergence pattern is determined, then I could look deeper into the posts associated with those themes and see if there is a subtheme – that is a growth of the theme.

I would expect that there is definitely a growth in the theme identity negotiation, but I wonder, is there also a theme change on body image negotiation? Did a growth or change in that theme occur over time, or did I reflect the same general idea throughout? What about decision making strategies? or coping mechanisms?
